On the Brazilian side of the falls there is a walkway which one takes from the parking lot leading down to the waters edge and here is an observation area right up against the falls. Here the waters mists forms its own clouds. These pictures were taken during the autumn (May) and the water was reportedly rather low compared to the spring run-offs. Even so the mists from the falls wet everything. It must be truly amazing during the high-water season!
